    Pricing & Incentives

What commercial EV charging actually costs in Florida.

Straight ranges, not pressure quotes. Final pricing is confirmed after a free site assessment.

    Typical installed cost

    $5,000$8,000

    per charging port, installed

Before incentives. Wall-mounted on existing panel capacity sits at the lower end; longer trenching runs and pedestal mounts push toward the upper end.

    What moves the price

    • Distance from the electrical panel (trenching footage)
    • Whether the panel has spare capacity or needs an upgrade
    • Pedestal vs. wall-mounted chargers
    • Number of chargers (shared infrastructure scales)
    • Site surface — landscaped/soft vs. concrete/hard trenching

    Included with every installation

Tesla Wall Connectors included — no separate hardware charge.

Every Florida Chargers installation includes the Tesla Universal Wall Connector hardware. The property's investment covers the professional installation — trenching, electrical, permitting, utility coordination, and ongoing network management. Final scope and pricing are confirmed during the free site assessment.

Incentives & rebates, handled for you.

Florida EV charging projects may qualify for utility make-ready programs. FPL's EVolution Make-Ready Credit is open and provides up to $1,200 per port for Level 2 charging, first-come until the program budget is depleted. Duke Energy Florida's Commercial Charger Prep Credit covers wiring, panel, and conduit work, and excludes hardware and permits. The federal 30C tax credit expired on June 30, 2026 and should not be budgeted. Florida Chargers files the utility paperwork and factors available programs into each proposal.

    Prefer no capital outlay?

Most properties choose Share the Revenue: Florida Chargers co-invests and owns and operates the chargers, and the property pays little to nothing upfront and earns a recurring share of the charging revenue. Financing is also available for qualified properties to lease the electrical infrastructure and installation with no money down. We confirm the economics during your free assessment.

Ranges are typical for Level 2 multifamily and commercial installations and are confirmed per project. Incentive amounts are subject to utility and program terms; eligibility verified during the assessment.

    Frequently asked

Commercial & multifamily EV charging — straight answers.

Typical installed cost runs $5,000–$8,000 per port for Level 2 Tesla Universal Wall Connectors, depending on trenching distance from the electrical panel, available panel capacity, and whether chargers are wall-mounted or on pedestals. Utility incentives can reduce net cost — FPL's EVolution Make-Ready Credit is open and provides up to $1,200 per port for Level 2 charging on a first-come basis until the program budget is depleted, and Duke Energy Florida's Commercial Charger Prep Credit covers wiring, panel, and conduit work.

A common starting point for multifamily is roughly one Level 2 port per 20–30 units, then expand as adoption grows. We design your first phase around real demand at your property and leave the electrical service sized for future ports, so you can add capacity without re-engineering the system.

Yes. Networked Tesla Universal Wall Connectors load-share on the circuits available at your property, which lets many buildings add ports on existing electrical capacity instead of paying for a costly service upgrade. Your site assessment confirms how many ports fit before any panel changes are needed.

No. The federal 30C alternative-fuel infrastructure tax credit has expired, so no Florida property should budget around it. What is available is at the utility level: FPL's EVolution Make-Ready Credit is open and provides up to $1,200 per port for Level 2 charging, first-come until the program budget is depleted, and Duke Energy Florida's Commercial Charger Prep Credit covers wiring, panel, and conduit work while excluding hardware and permits. Florida Chargers confirms the serving utility at the meter and handles the incentive paperwork.

Florida Statute 718.113 protects a condo owner's right to install EV charging in their assigned parking and gives associations a framework for common-area installations. Associations can set reasonable installation and safety standards, but cannot prohibit owners from installing charging in their own spaces.

Yes. Under our Share the Revenue program, Florida Chargers co-invests and operates the chargers and the property earns a recurring share of the charging revenue with little to no upfront cost. We handle design, install, billing, monitoring, and on-site maintenance.

Drivers pay through the Tesla app using the rate you set. Revenue is reconciled automatically and paid out to the property, so there's no cash handling, RFID cards, or in-house billing to manage.

Every EV sold in North America. The Universal Wall Connector has both a native NACS connector for Tesla vehicles and a built-in J1772 connector for all other EVs, so you don't need separate hardware for non-Tesla drivers.

Typically 6–12 weeks from signed agreement to energized chargers, depending on permitting and utility timelines in your jurisdiction. Your project manager coordinates design, permits, install, and utility inspections end-to-end.

We do. The chargers are networked on the Tesla platform, so we monitor uptime remotely, dispatch service when needed, and handle driver support — the property doesn't manage the equipment day-to-day.

Yes. EV travelers filter for charging when booking, and properties without chargers are removed from filtered results entirely. Hilton reports EV charging is the highest-converting amenity on Hilton.com — ahead of pools, dining, and free breakfast — because guests who filter for it complete bookings at a higher rate.

Yes. The Tesla Universal Wall Connector has a native NACS connector for Tesla vehicles and a built-in J1772 connector for all other EV brands, so every guest can charge regardless of what they drive.

Hotels set charging rates through the Tesla app. Guests and public drivers pay per session, and revenue is reconciled automatically. Under our Share the Revenue program, Florida Chargers co-invests and operates the chargers and the hotel earns a share of every session with little to no upfront cost.
